Coventry City have been knocked out of the EFL Cup following their defeat in the first round of the competition. The Sky Blues are no longer in the EFL Cup this season after they were beaten at home by fellow English Championship side Bristol City.

Their home game against Bristol City in the EFL Cup on Wednesday took place at the Pirelli Stadium in Burton.Coventry City went behindon 12 minutes when experienced Scottish attacker Kal Naismithfound the back of the net.
